Lead. Deliver. Design better Employee Experiences.

We’re looking for an experienced Employee Experience Project Manager with a strong Employee Experience background, especially in Organisational Development & Human Resources, to design and deliver high-impact initiatives across the employee lifecycle, with an immediate focus on Onboarding and Induction.

This is a hands-on Employee Experience Project Manager role for someone who enjoys designing, building and embedding practical solutions that genuinely improve how people experience joining and working in the organisation.

This is a full time, 12-month fixed term position.

Why this role, why now?

As our organisation continues to evolve, how we onboard, engage and support our people matters more than ever. This role exists to uplift how employees experience joining and moving through the organisation, ensuring our onboarding and induction practices are practical, scalable and genuinely add value for leaders and new starters.

This is a true hands-on delivery role: you’ll provide strong project leadership and personally create key project outputs, from process maps and toolkits to communications and implementation resources.

About the role

You’ll work across leaders, People & Culture teams and subject matter experts to design employee-centred solutions and turn them into practical tools that can be implemented and embedded across the business.

This role has visibility and impact across the organisation and requires someone who is comfortable operating in a complex, evolving environment, influencing without authority and balancing thoughtful design with pragmatic delivery.

This role requires exceptional engagement and influencing skills, leveraging strong relationships and key partners to drive alignment and outcomes.

This role has no direct reports.

What you’ll do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of People & Culture projects across the employee lifecycle with an initial focus on Onboarding & Induction.
  • Design and uplift onboarding and induction experiences using employee-centric approaches
  • Run workshops and co-design sessions to shape practical solutions with stakeholders
  • Build and deliver project artefacts (process maps, guides, comms, tools, implementation plans)
  • Partner with leaders and SMEs to drive change adoption and embed improvements

What success will look like

In your first 6-12 months, you will have:

  • Delivered a clearly defined, end-to-end Onboarding and Induction experience aligned to employee and business needs
  • Established practical onboarding standards, tools and resources that leaders can easily adopt
  • Embedded solutions that are used consistently across the organisation, not just designed
  • Built strong relationships with key stakeholders and influenced sustainable change

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience delivering OD / HR / People Experience projects end-to-end
  • Demonstrated capability designing or improving Onboarding, Induction or Employee Experience journeys
  • Strong facilitation, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels
  • A delivery-focused mindset, you enjoy building, testing and implementing solutions, not just overseeing them
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and navigating competing priorities in complex environments
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Organisational Development, Business or Project Management
  • Formal change or project methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, PROSCI) are desirable
